    I was hesitant to go into this establishment because it looks a little sketchy but the tacos were delicious.

    For dinner while in Omaha the family decided to go here for dinner. It seems to be a little while in the wall restaurant.

    Our party consisted of 6 adults and 2 kiddos (a toddler and a baby).

    We ordered a taco salad, nachos, chicken tacos, beef tacos and a few other things. When we got there the server brought us chips and refried beans. Normally I don't care for refried beans, but this was delicious. It's like they added something for more flavor too it.

    I had the nachos with no meat and guacamole. It was really good, but it lacked veggie toppings.

    My mom had the taco salad, the bowl it came in was delicious and my mom said the salad was really yummy.

    The tacos looked fantastic! My nephew loved his chicken taco and the rice was really great too.

    The prices were reasonable and the service was awesome!

    If I'm ever in Omaha I would for sure come here again!

    In QUESO you were wondering... It's Taco Tuesday! LOL

    La Casita is one of the best hole-in-the-wall places in Omaha that offers awesome Mexican food!
    Even though the area is super sketchy: cars without license plates and metal bars on the entrance door, ain't no mountain high enough to keep me away from good food!

    We are LOCO for La Casita's TACOS!

    Authentic, cozy and local - what more could you ask for?

    Became an on the whim suggestion since this place is within walking distance from home and was often passed up on the way to someplace else in the past!

    The menu has a lot of options (Steak, Fish, Veggie, and Chicken platters galore). Couldn't resist the nachos as an appetizer even though they bring out fresh chips and a bean dip to get you started. The combo plates were delicious and the margaritas weren't over-priced just a little on the salty side for my taste (as in I don't like gatorades because I can literally taste salt). They have Coronas as well so that's what I'm going with next time for sure.

    Glad I got to give this place a try, will definitely be back! *Pro Tip - Don't eat all day so you have lots of room for your meal*

    In my opinion the best tacos in Omaha. Probably the best Mexican food overall. Cheap, astoundingly delicious, and consistent. I have never had a bad experience. The Gorditas are also super killer. I have and will recommend La Casita to anyone and everyone.
